Sports Classic 80mph Class

 

Open to monohulls or catamarans 18ft and over, with no horsepower restrictions. The class is limited by speed rather than engine size, with a strict 80mph average cap (30-second penalties per mph over; disqualification above 85mph).

Up to five crew may compete depending on layout. Any propellers are permitted. Designed for teams with a wide range of boats, the 80mph Class focuses on driver consistency and control, making it an accessible and competitive option for racers who don’t fit into horsepower-limited categories.
